Fidata HFLC Ethernet Cable 1.5 m
Fidata HFLC Ethernet Cable 1.5 m
This cable came to us as a trade-in from a customer who moved to the AIM NAX as a cost-no-object upgrade. The Fidata HFLC was their reference Ethernet cable for some time before that. 9+/10 condition, original packaging, test results included.
We've had the HFLC in our own system. It's one of the most musical, natural-sounding Ethernet cables we've come across — the kind that makes you wonder what was obscuring things before. Holographic isn't a word we use lightly.
The Construction
Telegartner Japan MFP8 RJ45 connectors — shielded, gold-plated, and recognized as among the best available for audio Ethernet applications. The cable itself uses 26AWG silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors in twisted pairs, 7mm overall diameter.
What sets Fidata apart is the testing protocol. Every single cable is 100% individually measured at a certified facility in Japan. The test results are included in the packaging — you know exactly what you're getting. We're not aware of another Ethernet cable manufacturer that does this. It's not just quality control theater; these are real electrical measurements on your actual cable.
Where It Fits
Between your switch and your streamer, or your router and your switch. Works best in a resolving system where you can hear what the network is doing. The HFLC is a step below the AIM flagship but a step above most of what's available in this price range.
Press Recognition
Hi-Fi Knights (Poland) reviewed the Fidata HFLC and gave it strong marks for musicality and resolution. The cable has a following among serious listeners in Japan and Europe where Fidata has stronger distribution.
