Wireworld Starlight 10 Ethernet Cable
Wireworld Starlight 10 Ethernet Cable
The Starlight 10 occupies the middle position in Wireworld's Series 10 Ethernet lineup — between the Chroma 10's oxygen-free copper and the Platinum Starlight's OCC-7N solid silver. The geometry is identical to both: patented Tite-Shield twinax architecture, twelve internal shields, flat parallel conductors without length skew, Composilex 5 insulation. The conductor material is silver-clad OFC — a meaningful step up from bare copper.
The Silver-Clad Advantage
Silver plating on OFC copper provides improved conductivity over bare copper at the signal frequencies relevant to Ethernet audio while keeping the cost below solid silver. The skin effect at high frequencies concentrates current flow at the conductor's surface — where the silver plating lives — making silver plating more effective per dollar than it might appear on a spec sheet.
