Audience frontRow PowerChord MP

The frontRow powerChord comes in two versions for a specific reason: amplifiers and digital components face different power delivery challenges. The HP (High Power) is built for amplifiers. The MP (Medium Power) is engineered for the components where AC noise does the most damage — sources, preamplifiers, DACs, and streamers — and where the noise floor and resolution improvements that the frontRow platform delivers have the most direct effect on what you hear.

The frontRow Platform

99.9999% pure OCC copper conductors — Audience's highest purity conductor, used throughout the frontRow line. frontRow's proprietary geometry. MORRE post-production treatment: Deep Cryo II and EHVP applied after final assembly. Factory burn-in so the cable performs from day one. The same complete implementation as the frontRow Reserve, without the Reserve's silver conductor addition and advanced crystal treatment.

Why MP for Sources

Digital components — streamers, DACs, servers — are the most sensitive to AC noise because their internal power supplies reject less of what arrives on the AC line than linear supplies in analogue components. A preamplifier similarly amplifies whatever noise its power supply passes to the rails. The MP addresses this application specifically, with geometry and treatment calibrated for the current levels and noise characteristics of these components.
