Audience frontRow Reserve XLR Interconnects

The frontRow Reserve XLR is Audience's best interconnect in balanced termination. The same Reserve platform as the RCA version — silver plus copper geometry, advanced natural crystal treatment, enhanced shielding and grounding — with the addition of the balanced XLR interface's common-mode rejection and the higher signal level that balanced operation provides.

When XLR Is the Right Choice

If your source component and preamplifier or integrated amplifier both support balanced XLR connections — and if the components were designed with fully balanced topology rather than a passive conversion — the XLR version delivers the full advantage of balanced signal transfer. Common-mode noise picked up by the cable is canceled at the receiving end. Signal level is higher, reducing the contribution of downstream noise relative to the signal. Over longer cable runs, the advantage is more pronounced.

The Reserve Platform

Silver conductors added to the frontRow copper geometry. Advanced natural crystal formulation for EMI/RFI protection. Enhanced grounding and shielding scheme. All three additions were developed and evaluated independently before being combined in the Reserve platform.
