Stein InLine Gold LAN Isolator

The InLine Gold LAN Isolator combines two distinct approaches to network-borne noise: galvanic isolation at the electrical level, plus Stein's Gold treatment for magnetic distortion elimination. Either approach alone improves things; together they address what the other leaves behind.

Galvanic Isolation

Galvanic isolation breaks the electrical connection between your network infrastructure and your audio equipment. No shared ground, no conducted noise path. The data passes across the isolation barrier; the electrical noise that would travel with it does not. This is the same principle as fibre Ethernet, implemented for copper connections.

The Gold Treatment

Stein's InLine technology addresses magnetic distortions that conventional galvanic isolation leaves untouched. Holger Stein's approach to magnetic field effects in audio has been consistent across his product line and consistently produces results in listening. The Gold level represents the highest treatment tier in the InLine LAN range.
