The Design

Pure silver conductors, cryogenically treated. Air dielectric — no conventional insulation in contact with the signal path. 20 organic crystals incorporated for EMI suppression and mechanical resonance control, some with histories in military and electronic applications. An organic cotton sleeve handles the outer structure. Low-mass construction.

Darwin's approach is minimalist in the genuine sense — every element is there because it contributes to the sound, and nothing is there for appearance or marketing. The result is a cable that sounds like it disappears. Air, space, low-level detail, and a naturalness that makes extended listening sessions feel effortless rather than analytical.

Handling

Fragile by design. The minimalist construction is inseparable from the sonic performance. Handle with care, particularly at the terminations.
