Furutech FI-28 (G) Power Connectors

The Furutech FI-28 (G) is specifically recommended as the connector pair for the Grand Activation AC-55 bulk power cable. We've evaluated this combination in our system and can confirm the assessment: warm side of neutral, large and three-dimensional soundstage, precise imaging, non-fatiguing presentation. If you're building a power cord around the AC-55, these are the connectors to use.

The Design

Gold-plated contacts — the (G) designation in the Furutech lineup. Furutech's alpha process, applied to the conductor contact surfaces, involves cryogenic treatment and demagnetization that the company has documented as reducing electrical resistance and improving conductance at the contact surface. The FI-28 series has the physical construction quality that Furutech's reputation is built on: tight fit, solid clamping, no looseness in the assembly.
