Lumin P1 Mini

The P1 Mini was designed to do three things well — simultaneously, if needed. It's a network music player with full Lumin streaming capability. It's a DAC accepting USB, optical, coaxial, and HDMI inputs from external digital sources. And it's a preamplifier with Leedh Processing lossless volume control, XLR and RCA analogue outputs, and a remote control. Five inputs, one output stage, no compromises that matter.

The HDMI ARC Input

Most network music hubs ignore television. The P1 Mini's HDMI ARC input makes it the routing center for a two-channel TV system that wants to bypass an AV receiver entirely — connect your TV to the HDMI ARC input, route audio to your stereo system, and your television sounds like it deserves to sound through the rest of your equipment.

The DAC and Volume

ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip, a capable and well-regarded converter that handles PCM up to 32bit/384kHz and native DSD up to DSD128. Leedh Processing lossless volume control — the same mathematically correct volume algorithm used in Lumin's flagship products. Leedh volume doesn't truncate bits at low volume settings the way conventional digital volume controls do; the full dynamic range is preserved at all listening levels.

Connectivity

Five inputs: network streaming, USB audio from a computer or server, optical S/PDIF, coaxial S/PDIF, and HDMI ARC. SFP fibre network input available for galvanic isolation of the network connection. XLR and RCA analogue outputs simultaneously available. Roon Ready. Qobuz and TIDAL streaming via the Lumin app.
