Stillpoints Component Stand SS

The Component Stand SS is an isolation platform designed specifically to accommodate Stillpoints vibration isolation devices. The stand bypasses the component's original feet entirely — the component rests on the Stillpoints units rather than its factory-installed feet, allowing the Stillpoints to contact the chassis bottom directly.

Why Bypass the Original Feet

Micro-vibrations are generated by the electrical current running through circuit board components — transformers, capacitors, and other elements that vibrate at the frequencies of the signals passing through them. That vibration follows the circuit board standoffs down to the chassis bottom and then couples into the shelf surface. The original feet, designed for aesthetics and stability rather than vibration management, do little to interrupt this path. The Component Stand SS positions Stillpoints units at the chassis contact points where they can actually address the problem.

Stillpoints Not Included

The Component Stand SS does not include Stillpoints isolation devices — you choose which Stillpoints units are appropriate for your component's weight and chassis configuration. Ultra II, Ultra V2, and other Stillpoints products are available separately.
